Serving the Children of the World
The Kiwanis Club of Williamsburg Proudly Sponsors FIVE Clubs focusing on Service – Leadership – Fellowship
Kiwanis International empowers people at every stage of life to become competent, capable, and compassionate leaders by helping them learn to help others. Through its Service Leadership Programs, Kiwanis teaches young leaders new ways to change the world by serving one child and one community at a time. As a Kiwanis member, you have the privilege of serving and guiding these young leaders.
The Kiwanis Club of Williamsburg proudly sponsors five Service Leadership clubs with the youth of Williamsburg. We sponsor Circle K International at the College of William and Mary, 3 Key Clubs including Jamestown, Lafayette, and Walsingham High Schools, and the Aktion Club in conjunction with the ARC of Greater Williamsburg.
These clubs include hundreds of students who perform thousands of service hours to our community each year. Projects include food drives, ringing the Salvation Army bells, Strike Out ALS, Heritage Humane Society service, Crochet for Kids, blood drives, just to name a few.
Many leadership opportunities exist in each club, including the executive officers, the committee chairs and the project leads.
These Kiwanis family clubs help in our Mission “Serving the children of the World, one child, one community at a time, beginning right here in Williamsburg”.
If you want to invest in our future and be actively engaged in the community of young people helping them become the leaders of tomorrow, come join us! It’s fun, it’s exciting and it feels good too!
